This was a really nice restaurant, good food and service. The food is piled on here, so bring your appetite. Down here in the Keys you really don't want any left overs or doggie bag, due to how HOT it is and it may spoil. So order what you can eat. There are lots of things on the menu to choose from. Copper Kettle Restaraunt

Although it looks slightly shabby from outside, it is very clean and nicely furnished inside. Great old-fashioned service, too! This restaurant offers Cajun chicken, Hawaiian ham, and cottage pie among other dishes that mixes European with Caribbean flavors. Tropical outdoor seating is available. Breakfast is served on Sundays until 2:00pm.

Fish & Chips $ 7.95 Breaded in Japenese breadcrumbs, deep fried and served with fries and malt vinegar. Usually, I am not a fish & chips type. However, they looked so good on somebody's else plate that I couldn't resist! Check their website for more choices.

Great fresh seafood at this place. For around $10.00, you can get fresh yellowtail, dolphin, grouper, clams, tuna, or whatever is fresh that day. All this in a sports bar type setting.

Baked Dolphin Sandwich. Baked dolphin fillet with sauteed mushrooms and the house specialty sauce on a kaiser roll. A+

Things to Do:

If you are a diver, this is the place for you. They call it the dive capital of the world, with coral reefs just of the coast and ship wrecks to explore. Plenty of bars if you just feel like hang around a knockin' back a few. Which ever you do, no one will be forcing you to do anything you don't want to. This is a place to relax and have fun!

John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park

This is one of the best places to go snorkeling or diving in South Florida. The glass bottom boat ride is popular with families and non-swimmers and provides an alternative for viewing the coral reefs without getting in the water. If you can swim though, I'd recommend taking at least snorkeling tour. Most head into shallow waters and are quite scenic. All gear is available for rent. For those who are SCUBA certified, dive trips are the day to go. These trips head out into much deeper waters and give you the opportunity to witness a full spectrum of marine life. John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park is the claim to fame of being the first undersea park in the United States, Its also the largest in the area and f the only living coral reef in the continental United States. Pennekamp extends off the coastline and has miles of coral reefs, seagrass beds and mangrove swamps. The coral reefs are protected areas established to preserve the dellcate coral, which takes years to develop and can be destroyed so easily.

Mallory Square

Mallory Square Located on the historic waterfront between Whitehead and Duval Streets. Exciting attractions, unparalleled, Key West's finest Cuban restaurant, shopping, the Key West Historic Memorial Sculpture Garden and the famous Key West Sunset Celebration. After a day of sightseeing and shopping, be sure and attend 'Sunset Fest' at Mallory Square (north end of Duval).
